Moody Optics was designed and started from the ground up in Austin, Texas. Established in 2020, we are a group of friends who were swiftly turned into business partners after not only coming across an ongoing problem, but finding an ongoing solution.

We founded Moody Optics because we wanted to create a safe haven for anyone who is concerned about their time on digital devices (because, let's face it, we are all guilty).

So that's exactly what we did.

Nine months prior to launching Moody Optics and selling our first product we went through nine different samples. None of which passed our quality standard for our customers. Others were priced way too high for us to be able to offer to consumers. After several different quality issues and many months essentially wasted, we decided to fly out to Los Angeles, California to meet with our manufacturer and make constant, in-person revisions. We were able to accelerate the idea of this from months to days and we are finally confident in saying we have one of the most comfortable and affordable blue light protection catalogs you will find.
